For Nespresso, the festive season is the most important commercial moment of the year. In 2019, the challenge was to launch a limited-edition collection inspired by Nordic culture across 77 markets, with a modest budget and radically different seasonal realities.
In the Northern Hemisphere, the festive season evokes winter, snow and indoor intimacy. In the Southern Hemisphere, Christmas arrives in the middle of summer, with heat, long days and outdoor celebrations.
The idea began with a simple question: "You're Argentine. What does the festive season feel like when Christmas happens in summer?"
That question reframed the brief. A global campaign could not rely on snow, winter or any single cultural tradition. It needed a kind of warmth that could travel anywhere, defined not by temperature, but by comfort, closeness, and the people we share the moment with.
Feel the Warmth Within transformed the collection's Nordic inspiration into a universal emotional idea: the warmth inside every capsule, brought to life when people come together.
From Oslo to Buenos Aires, the season may look different. What it makes us feel does not.
